1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information needed to provide the service: • Account information: your name and email address when you sign in with Google or another provider. • Payment information: processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. • Resume content: your resume text is extracted in memory solely to perform the analysis. It is never written to disk or a database and is discarded immediately after results are returned. • Usage data: anonymous logs (page views, error rates) used to improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: • Deliver resume analysis results. • Manage your credit balance and transaction history. • Send transactional emails (purchase receipts, account notifications). • Improve the reliability and performance of the service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Resume & Job Description Data
Your resume and job description are processed entirely in memory. We do not: • Store your resume or job description on our servers. • Train AI models on your data. • Share your content with any third party beyond the AI inference call required to generate your report. Once your results are returned, all uploaded content is permanently discarded.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Analytics, if any, are anonymous and aggregated.
5. Data Retention
Account information and credit transaction history are retained for as long as your account is active or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: • Google OAuth — authentication • Stripe — payment processing • Supabase — database (stores only account info and credit records, never resume content) • Anthropic / OpenAI — AI inference (resume text is sent for analysis and not retained by us) Each provider operates under their own privacy policy.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption in transit, secure session management, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Resume Analyzer is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
